Tasting wines side by side is the best way to learn your preferences
You may be asking, ‘what is tastingroom2go?’ Well, tastingroom2go is my way of bringing people the kind of wine tastings that I always wished I could bring people in the wine bars, tasting rooms, and restaurants that I have worked at in my almost ten years in the wine business here in Tampa Bay. Without the pressure of sales and inventory demands I am able to bring you wine tastings that I know are truly amazing, arranged in a way that you can’t help but learn, and when I pair these wines with cheese and/or chocolate, you are in for a real treat.
As a veteran of the wine business in Tampa, I have worked in about every wine job available, from retail manager to wine director. The one common thread from all of these wine jobs, other than tasting some great wines, is being able to introduce people to new wines and new experiences. Any sommelier will tell you, there is no better way to learn about wine then through tasting. In-store wine tasting selections are limited by price and the store’s agenda, and in-home tastings are sales driven events, often featuring wines that are only available through the wine party system.
My goal is to bring you unique wine tastings featuring exceptional wines. I source my wines from local wine shops or through online resources. Through my contacts in the wine business, I am able to bring you amazing wines, as well as the stories of the vineyard and the winemaker.
Each wine tasting is custom blended for you and your guests, so prices may vary. Private wine tasting packages include wines, cheeses, and/or chocolates. Learn how to taste and evaluate wine like a sommelier, while you enjoy a seated tasting (just like the professionals). I provide a tasting guide, tasting notes and a guided tasting that is fun and never stuffy or snobby.
